Phantom Frank conquered The Netherlands with surfband The Treble Spankers in the late 90's.
In the slipstream of the success of Pulp Fiction the band scored an airplayhit with Red Hot Navigator,
played all major festivals in The Netherlands and sold 20.000 albums.
Since 2005 Phantom Frank plays all over The Netherlands with his new band The Phantom Four.
Early in it's existence the band becomes resident band of the “Noodlanding” at Paradiso and “Surf's Up” at the Melkweg.
The band opens for bands like Dick Dale, Fun Lovin’ Criminals, G. Love & Special Sauce, and plays at major festivals like
Lowlands and Paaspop. They quickly build a reputation as one of the best surfbands of The Netherlands, complete two Spanish tours
and play Belgium, Germany and the UK.

The outstanding surf-trio is back with a rockin' set of oldies and newies.. MESSER CHUPS are coming from St.Petersburg, Russia.
In their music they combine surf, film samples, scratchy historical recordings, loungy cartoon sounds from the 50's and 60's.
The show is combined with video from trashy cult movies of the middle of the last century – Betty Page, Bela Lugosi , zombies, Russ Meyer's and Ed Wood's heroes are all mixed in videocollages of the master Gitarkin.

Please contribute to this great project by writing us YOUR memories on ABC-events, things that you experienced at our parties and want to share with other ABC-fans.. what was the greatest party of all, did you give your first kiss to the love of your life at ABC, what was the coolest band-gig ever, etc..
Also sent us funny/crazy/cool/nice/bad/ superb photos of the ABC-parties, artists and bands that performed at Amsterdam BeatClub, party crowds and fun stuff.. snapshots and prof-photos, everything is welcome!
